Focus and Scope

The purpose of this journal is to publish scientific works from national and international lecturers, researchers, students, and practitioners to present their new ideas, concepts and theories in Indonesian language and literature education such as:

  1. The research results of Language Learning and Indonesian Literature.
  2. The research results of experimental research of Language Education and Indonesian Literature.
  3. The research result of Class Action Research (CAR) of teaching of Language and Literature Indonesia.
  4. Research result of Indonesian Linguistics and Literature.
  5. Linguistic and Literary analysis.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are read by the editorial staff. The review proccess uses double blind review system. Those manuscripts evaluated by editors to be inappropriate to journal criteria are rejected promptly without external review. Manuscripts evaluated to be of potential interest to our readership are sent to reviewers. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewer’s recommendation from among several possibilities: rejected, require major revision, need minor revision, or accepted.


Publication Frequency

Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (2442-8485) & (2460-6316) is an academic, open access, and peer-reviewed journal founded and first published in 2015 by Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Issues are published biannual (April and October), for issue  April, will publish the articles in English and with Bahasa Indonesia at issue Oktober.

Since 2016, all articles are published exclusively in Open Journal System (OJS). Submissions are open year-around. However, before submitting, please ensure that the manuscript within Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia is written in English or Bahasa Indonesia and follows our focus and scope and author guidelines

Focusing on Indonesian language and literature education perspective, Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia provides a platform for the presentation, analysis, and criticism of provocative work, publishing articles that transcend disciplines and advance the study of Indonesian language and literature education specifically related to era 4.0.

Jurnal Gramatika

Jurnal Gramatika is a research in the field of education and used for leading researchers who follow the rules or code of ethics in the authorship of scientific articles. Jurnal Gramatika is a journal reviewed by the editorial board objectively and published twice a year by Language Education and Satra Indonesia Studies Program STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. The Editor team has full responsibility for preventing plagiarism in the publication of the article. The Editor's Team does not tolerate any form of plagiarism. Posts that have been entered into the editor team, then the editor team is entitled to edit the author's writings in accordance with the guidelines for writing.
