IMPLEMENTASI PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA BERBASIS PROYEK DI SMP: TERLAKSANA DENGAN BAIK ATAU TIDAK?

Abstract


Abstract. The aim of this study described the feasibility of a project-based mathematics learning  geometri flat side material in one of Batu City Middle Schools. The research will be carried out using descriptive qualitative research. Subjects in this study were educators and students of class VII-B in one of the junior high schools in Batu City. These students are chosen because they tend to get bored easily and are less interested in learning mathematics. Data collection techniques used in this study consisted of three, namely: observation, test data and documents. The research instruments used were observation sheets of project-based mathematics learning implementation, and student learning outcomes test sheets. Overall the implementation of project-based mathematics learning methods has been implemented according to planning. Educator activities related to project-based learning have an average of 78% which is included in the well-implemented category. Therefore the implementation of project-based learning can be said to be feasible and needs to be developed again.

Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis proyek pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar disalah satu SMP Kota Batu. Penelitian yang akan dilaksanakan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendidik dan peserta didik kelas VII-B pada salah satu SMP di Kota Batu ini. Peserta didik ini dipilih karena cenderung mudah bosan dan kurang tertarik pada pembelajaran matematika. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga, yaitu: observasi, data tes dan dokumen. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran matematika berbasis proyek, dan lembar soal tes hasil belajar peserta didik. Secara keseluruhan pelaksanaan metode pembelajaran matematika berbasis proyek sudah terlaksana sesuai perencanaan. Aktivitas pendidik yang berhubungan dengan pembelajaran berbasis proyek memiliki rata–rata sebesar 78% yang termasuk dalam kategori terlaksana dengan baik. Oleh karena itu pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis proyek ini sudah dapat dikatakan layak dan perlu dikembangkan lagi.
